Contemplating Kinship

Join us at The Poets Corner for an evocative exploration of kinship through the voices of poets and writers who deepen their understanding of our experience from cicadas, whales, and the more-than-human world. This multi-media event features four writers/artists who will share their work through readings and visuals. Together, they will engage in a dynamic discussion about our connections—to others, to nature, and to the universe—revealing how these relationships shape our understanding of existence and shared experience.

We’ll be joined by Claire Millikin, author of Magiciada (Unicorn, 2024), visual artist and writer Jane Pirone, David Baker author of Whale Fall (W. W. Norton, 2022), and writer and visual artist Mikhu Paul.

This event is FREE and will be live on Zoom Sunday April 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST
